Since this book began as a sixteen-part serial , for the New York Times Magazine, it is shorter than most of Connelly's novels. Being shorter does not diminish the story in any way.

Families should be loving, generous, kind, caring, forgiving and a lot of other positive adjectives. What we should be, and what we are in actuality, sometimes doesn't jibe. Isn't it wonderful when the way you should be, and the way you are, is in sync?

One year ago today I began blogging. I had heard of blogging but wasn't sure what it entailed. I began to investigate it fully when my Brother in Law wrote a book. I thought a blog about it would be the best way to let people, in this area, know about his book. Ergo, I began to blog. I have enjoyed it so much, I am still doing it.
